Dear reader, it is better for you to stay away from the sinful actions of this world. If you do, your holiness will shine all the way to heaven.
Your light on earth will be seen from heaven.
First, if you choose holiness, instead of living in sin, a light will be ignited by your holiness. This light will not only shine in your heart, but also in your home and family. In fact, in the spiritual realm, your light will shine through your community and shine all the way to heaven.
Holiness will keep your lamp filled with oil.
Second, if you choose to live a holy life, your spiritual lamp will be filled with oil always. Even if a cry is made at midnight saying: ‘Here’s the bridegroom [Jesus Christ]! Come out to meet him!’, your lamp will be lighted.
There will be no need for you to rush out to look for oil. In fact, you will enter heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ, and you will not be locked out of the banquet hall of heaven.
Holiness will make you ready for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Additionally, if you are a Christian, nothing will make you ready for the return of Jesus Christ except holiness. In fact, Heavenly Father chose you to be in him before the creation of the world so that you are holy and blameless in his sight. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
Listen to what Jesus Christ is telling you:
14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”[a]

Your holiness shines all the way to heaven.
