Some persons may not tell if the Holy Spirit is around. In this article I show twelve ways to detect the presence of the Holy Spirit.
- You will feel freedom and peace. The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- Heat. When the Holy Spirit is around, temperature within your heart and in the atmosphere will increase.
- Invisible fire. Presence of the Holy Spirit will create an invisible fire that will start burning in your heart. ‘They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’ (Luke 24:32)
- Lightness of atmosphere. When the Holy Spirit is around, you will feel all your burdens lifted away. You will feel lightness in the atmosphere. You will be like a feather wanting to flow away. The presence of the Holy Spirit will drive away all demons. The heaviness will disappear to create a light atmosphere.
- Healing will take place. The Holy Spirit is a powerful force that takes away all diseases.
- Deliverance from evil forces will occur. When the Holy Spirit is around, deliverance from demons will take place.
- You will feel like praying. Presence of the Holy Spirit will create an atmosphere for prayer. His presence will prompt you to start praying.
- You will feel like worshiping and praising God. The presence of the Holy Spirit will create an atmosphere o worshiping and praising God.
- Some persons shout for joy. Some people shout with happiness when they sense the Holy Spirit.
- Visible fire. When the day of Pentecost came the disciples of Jesus saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
- Seeing visions. Some people see visions of Heaven, angels. God, and Jesus when the Holy Spirit is around.
- Manifestation and fleeing of evil spirits. Demons cannot tolerate the presence of the Holy Spirit. They will manifest in the possessed person and they will flee.
