The written word of God in the Bible implores us to devote our hearts and souls to seeking the Lord our God (see 1 Chronicles 22:19). So how do we seek the Lord?
In this article I share with you three best ways to seek God.
# 1. Reading God’s written word in the Bible.
This is the best way to seek God. In the Bible, God reveals himself to humankind. We discover his nature and his character, his love, his justice, his forgiveness, and his truth. The Bible is actually God’s guidebook for living the Christian faith.
The central message of the Bible is God’s plan of salvation—his way of bringing deliverance from sin and spiritual death through repentance and faith.
In the Old Testament, the concept of salvation is rooted in Israel’s deliverance from Egypt in the book of Exodus.
The New Testament reveals the source of salvation: Jesus Christ. By faith in Jesus, the promised Messiah, believers are saved from God’s judgment of sin and its consequence, which is eternal death.
# 2. Attending church.
There is a direct communication portal between heaven and all true church buildings on earth. For this reason, you are more likely to interact with God in a church building than any other place.
When you join other believers to worship God, you create an atmosphere where the kingdom of heaven comes down to earth.
Furthermore, there is more activity of God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, as well as angels within God’s house that in any other place.

# 3. Prayer
Prayer brings you closer to Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. When you pray, you align yourself with the will of God. You ask Him to lead you and help you on your journey through life.
Prayer is a way for you to surrender your life to God and trust that He will lead you down the path He has planned for you.
