The tree without fruit that was cursed.

The Bible mentions a tree that was cursed by Jesus Christ because he found this tree without fruit. This can happen to any Christian who is just sitting without producing any fruit in the kingdom of God.

Listen to what the Bible says about this incident:

Early in the morning,

as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves.Then he said to it,

“May you never bear fruit again!”

Immediately the tree withered.

Matthew 21:18-19

Responding to God’s call on your life.

The first step to bearing fruit in God’s Kingdom is to respond to God’s call on your life. Each person on earth has a specific calling from God, though many don’t know this. By acting on what God called you to do, you will be bearing abundant beautiful fruit.

Winning lost souls for Jesus Christ.

Secondly, Jesus Christ commissioned every Christian to go out and win lost souls for the kingdom of God. By winning souls you will be bearing beautiful fruit for the kingdom of God.

If you are unable to win souls directly, you can do so indirectly by contributing money or other means to win souls.

Listen to what Jesus said:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father

and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

Seeking holiness.

Meanwhile, the most beautiful fruits will appear in your life if you seek holiness. Moreover, holiness will prevent Satan from stealing the promises God has made to you.

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends,

let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
