Dear reader, you are in serious trouble if at one time you were a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, but now you have abandoned him.
In this article I show you six dangers of forsaking Jesus Christ.
You have rejected life.
When you abandon Jesus Christ, you are turning your back on life in its fullness. You will be unknowingly inviting death into your life.
You are inviting darkness.
When you forsake Jesus Christ, you are unknowingly reject light and invite darkness into your life. It is better that you reconsider your steps and go back to the source of all light, who is Jesus Christ.
You invite the devil.
When you reject Jesus Christ, you open the door for the devil to enter your life.
You reject God the Father.
When you forsake Jesus Christ, it means you have rejected our Father in Heaven.
Listen to what the Bible says:
Jesus answered:
“Don’t you know me, Philip,
even after I have been among you such a long time?
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.
How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father,
and that the Father is in me?
The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.
Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
You reject the Holy Spirit.
By forsaking Jesus Christ, you reject and despise the Holy Spirit who is a representative of God.
You are taking the wrong road.
When you forsake Jesus Christ, you shift from the correct road leading to Heaven into the road that leads to Hell. It is better you reconsider your ways and go back to the road leading to eternal life.
You reject Salvation.
By rejecting Jesus Christ, you are rejecting the salvation of your soul. If you don’t repent, you may end up in Hell.
