Dear reader, our Father in Heaven is grieved right now because people all over the world are giving more respect to their presidents than to him. Yet God created all these people, and created the heavens and Earth.

In this article I show you six honors that people give to presidents, but never to God.

Meeting the president.

Father in Heaven is grieved that people in all countries are willing to pay any price to meet their presidents. But most of them, including Christians, find it a burden to meet their creator in prayer and in church.

Compliance with the appointment time.

All over the world, it is rare to see someone arriving late to meet any president. In some countries guests come as early as six hours before the appointment time.

What grieves our Father in Heaven is that when he looks all around the world, very few believers come to Church on time. Most believers enter church after the service has already started.

Gifts to the presidents.

The Lord’s eyes move all around the world and he is shocked by the kind of precious and magnificent gifts people give their presidents.

What grieves our Father in Heaven is that as he moves  all around the world to visit rooms where church offerings are kept, he mostly finds worn-out low denomination bank notes and old coins.

Costumes.

Father in Heaven has realized that when people  are going to meet their presidents, they wear their best costumes. But when they are going to church, most people dress haphazardly, without realizing that they are going to meet their creator.

Respect for presidents.

Many people on earth show more signs of respect to their presidents than to their creator in Heaven. Without any fear or respect, most people, including many Christians, continue doing things that annoy Father in Heaven ( see Zephaniah 3:8).

Obeying the presidential orders.

The constitutions of many countries in the world give their presidents broad powers to manage national affairs. A president can unilaterally issue a variety of rules and most people will obey immediately.

Father in Heaven is grieved that he issued many commands in his written word, found in the Bible, but most people, including many Christians, are not obeying his directives.
