When you pray before leaving your house the following will happen:
The shadow of the almighty will cover you.
Psalm 91:1 says:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
The Lord will be your fortress.
Psalm 91:2 says:
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
God will protect you from the Devil’s traps.
Psalm 91:3 says:
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
God will protect you from dangers.
Psalm 91:7 says:
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
God will command His Angels to protect you.
Psalm 91:11-12 says:
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
When you get into trouble, God will rescue you.
Since you have acknowledged His Name before leaving home, when you get into trouble, God will rescue you.
Psalm 91:14-15 says:
Because he[a] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
God will cover you with His favour.
Ruth 2:10 says:
At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”
