Dear reader, our Father in Heaven forgives some people their sins but they fail to understand that they have been forgiven.

They continue walking with guilt in their hearts without realizing that Jesus Christ has washed away all their sins.

In this article  I show you seven signs showing that God has forgiven you all your sins.

1. Inner peace.

When God forgives you all your sins, you will feel peace in your heart. All condemnation will go away.

Listen to what the written word of God says about this peace:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1

2. Seeing pure water in your dreams.

To see pure water, in any form, within your dreams is a very good sign. It shows that God has forgiven you all your sins.

3. Inner happiness.

When God forgives you all your sins, you will feel a lot of happiness within your heart. This is exactly how the sinful woman in the Bible felt when Jesus Christ forgave her all her sins (see Luke 7:36-50).

4. The feeling God’s presence.

When God forgives you your sins, you may suddenly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. You will feel God’s holy fire within your heart.

5. Getting a dream of a clean water shower.

When Jesus Christ washes away all your sins, you may get a dream of seeing yourself in a clean water shower or in a rainfall shower.

Pure water symbolizes the Holy Spirit.

6. You will forget your sins.

When Jesus Christ washes away all your sins, the Holy Spirit will make you forget all these sins. Satan will try his best to remind you some of the sins, but God will erase them out of your mind.

7. You will feel like forgiving others.

When God forgives you all your sins, you will feel the urge to forgive those who have wronged you.

8. You will feel the desire for holiness.

After God has forgiven you all your sins, you will start hating sin in all its form. You will feel the desire for holiness.

This is exactly how Zacchaeus felt as indicated in the Bible verse below:

Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord,

“Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor;

and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”

Luke 19:8

How do I know I’ve been forgiven for habitual sins? I gave my life to God 2 months ago and was a drug addict. I recently got clean but relapsed several days ago. I repented but still do not feel forgiven. I haven’t stopped smoking cigarettes yet but I am still getting clean from drugs. God seems so silent. I went my whole life believing I was Christian. I read the Bible and prayed. I was not a Christian. I realized that when God came to me. I’m afraid that my habitual sinning has done to much damage for my new salvation.

      Dear Sis.

You cannot change on your own. During your prayer time always first pray the Lord’s Prayer, and then ask Heavenly Father to help you overcome any sin remaining in your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in whatever you are doing. Gradually, as you seek God through his written word in the Bible, sin will go out of your life.

When you no longer feel any conviction of sin in your life, then know that Heavenly Father has totally forgiven you. If there is any sin remaining, God will bring it to your attention.

How many times does God forgive habitual sin? at this point I’ve done it as much to even believe that its gonna take more than a lot to be forgiven. Although, yes he has forgiven me, I even feel the heaviness in my heart has lifted, But again, although he has forgiven me, I fear my future might bring it against me to get me away and far from God once more. Its terrifying. Sometimes i feel that God might hold it accountable to me if i where to ever meet him in the day of Judgment. it saddens my heart every time i think about it.

Read Matthew 18:21 KJV and you will find the answer. Learn that God desires that you should be holy and separate from sin. You need to accept suffering as a part of this fallen life and must endure it to enter God’s kingdom. When your body longs to fulfill its sinful desires, you mustn’t give in. And don’t be deceived into believing that you are utterly helpless or that you can’t go another day without resisting your flesh, because it is the devil’s deception that caused Eve to doubt God’s word and disobey. Believe God and His promises when He says that He will bless your obedience but punish disobedience. And always test yourself to see if you are truly in the faith, because by definition, the one who believes will always demonstrate it through his works. God bless you friend, and may He richly grant you freedom, as he has done for me.

I’m in a situation right now that’s hard for me to fully accept Gods forgiveness. I have verbally hurt another believer (sister in Christ) & have asked Gods forgiveness & want to ask her forgiveness but her father & my husband say to wait a day or two but I want to tell her now. What do you think?
