Dear reader, many people believe that our Heavenly Father is high up in the sky, beyond the most distant stars. This belief is false. The truth is that God is so close to you that, if you pay close enough attention, you can even hear Him breathing.
You do not need to shout.
First, if God was very far, you would need the voice equivalent to the loudest thunder for Him to hear you. The truth is that He is so close that you can even talk to Him in your faintest voice.
You can communicate with God in your thoughts.
Second, God is so close to you that you can both communicate through thought. When you are so sick that you cannot speak, He is so close that you can just communicate through thought. He will hear you.
God actually dwells within you.
Additionally, the written Word in the Bible says that your body is the temple of God. You may search for Him in many places when He is actually dwelling within you!
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”[a]
2 Corinthians 6:16
God needs you more than you need Him.
Also, many people think that our Father in Heaven does not need them. That He is very difficult to find. The truth is that He needs you more than you do need Him. He loves you more that you love Him. He is searching more for you that you are searching for Him.
Have you ever sacrificed your dear child to your Heavenly Father? For Him He sacrificed His only begotten Son so that you do not perish!
Hear what the written Word says:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
