Dear reader, God takes time very seriously. Christians who arrive late for church may never enter heaven.

God takes time and appointments seriously.

First, we must understand that our Heavenly Father does everything on time, to the exact minute and second. If you were to have an appointment with our Heavenly Father, He will be there for you at the exact hour. Therefore, if the church service starts at 8:00am, God our Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit will be there for you at exactly 8:00am.

There is a time to open and close heaven’s gate

Second, we should know that our Heavenly Father has an appointed time for every activity on earth and in heaven. Therefore, in situations where we expect him in a church service, he will come at the exact hour.

Similarly, there is a time to open heaven’s gate and to close it. If a Christian has not honored God’s time on earth, most likely they will not honor God’s time for opening and closing heaven’s gate.

Furthermore, listen to what God’s word in the Bible says:

There is a time for everything.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

God struck all the firstborns in Egypt at exactly midnight.

As a good example, let us look at the promise God gave to Moses. God told Moses that at exactly midnight He would go throughout Egypt. Every firstborn son in Egypt would die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well.

God kept his promise and struck all the firstborns exactly at midnight as he had promised.

Listen to what happened at the exact hour:

29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well.

Exodus 12:29

Guests who meet the president always arrive before the scheduled time.

It is interesting to note that in every country, all guests who are to meet the president of that country are required by protocol to arrive before the scheduled time. They are expected to wait for the president, instead of the president waiting for them.

However, the opposite is true in churches. In most churches, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit  come at the exact hour when the service starts. Unfortunately, most Christians arrive after the service has begun.

Therefore God is asking:

Why do my people honor their presidents more than me?

Latecomers may fail to enter heaven.

During His ministry on earth, our Lord Jesus Christ warned Christians to respect the appointed time. Christians who don’t respect the appointed time will one day  find the door to heaven locked.

Listen to what Jesus said:

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.

Matthew 25:10-12

Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ [Matthew 25:10-12]

Christians who arrive late for church may never enter heaven.

The weapon to stop Satan is actually found in Luke 11:4
