When your prayer life becomes intense enough to disturb the realm of darkness, you can expect the enemy to retaliate. When your prayer is strong, demons attack your dreams.

This actually happened to me.

At the beginning of my ministry, I worked under the guidance of a highly anointed servant of God. As a result, my prayers were so powerful that I witnessed the defeat of many witches. However, something strange happened every time I prayed. Every time I fell asleep, I had dreams mixed with success and failure. At the time, I didn’t realize that these negative dreams were the work of the devil, who was trying to discourage me from praying.

Powerful prayers attract Satan’s counterattack.

If your prayers are powerful enough to trouble demons and witches, Satan often responds by attacking your dreams, attempting to use the night as a battleground to steal your peace. These satanic attacks, which often manifest as nightmares, paralysis, or spiritual oppression, are actually a sign that your prayer is effective. The enemy attacks your dream life because he is desperate to stop you, trying to use fear to disrupt your rest, which strengthens you spiritually.

Dreams of deception.

However, the battle does not stop at torment. Demons often move from direct attacks to giving dreams of deception. These dreams are designed to deceive you into believing your prayers are ineffective or that you are losing the battle. You might experience scenarios of defeat, confusion, or fear, aimed at inducing discouragement.
If you do not persist in strong, consistent prayer, these deceptive dreams may lead to discouragement, causing you to believe the enemy’s lies over God’s promises, which can eventually extinguish your prayer life.

God will give you dreams of victory.

However, God will give you dreams of victory, comforting you with His presence and revealing the defeat of your enemies. When you rise against these attacks, Scripture promises that your “dream life” is transferred from the enemy’s territory to Christ’s dominion. The key is persistence in faith. Do not allow the devil to convince you that your, or rather God’s power, is failing. When the enemy launches a nightmare, counter it with the blood of Jesus and the Word of God, turning your sleep into a sanctuary of divine victory. Persist in prayer, for your victory is secured.

The weapon to stop Satan is actually found in Luke 11:4
