This actually happened to me.
First, let me tell you what happened to me. I suffered spiritual attacks every time I fell asleep after praying or doing my Christian ministry work.
For example, sometimes I would see soldiers chasing me in my dreams. All these attacks stopped when I began anointing my bed with oil.
Is the use of anointing oil biblical?
Secondly, you should keep in mind that the anointing of objects and people is mentioned many times in the Bible.
Listen to what God told Moses in the Book of Exodus:
26 Then use the oil to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.
30 “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. 31 Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.

This occurs when an object is anointed with oil.
First, by anointing an object with oil, it is consecrated to God. It is spiritually declared to belong to Him. Second, the anointing oil acts as a seal of divine protection. In fact, anointing an object with oil is like placing a sign on your property that reads: “Protected by God.”
Agree with God as you anoint the oil.
To make the anointing much more powerful, you need make declarations that are in agreement with God. For example, you can say that: “I cover my bed with this oil as a sign of God’s protection. No weapon forged againt me shall propsper.” Anointing oil serves as a symbolic covering of the Holy Spirit, bringing spiritual defense that scares Satan and demons.
Anointing with oil closes the legal doors that demons use.
Furthermore, by anointing anything, you close the legal door that Satan and the demons have been using to attack you. Everytime they try, they find the door locked.
What is the best oil to use?
According to God’s written word in the Bible, olive oil is the best. This oil is available in the supermarket near you. Christian anointing with olive oil is a practice rooted in Scripture, symbolizing God’s presence, blessing, and healing.
It dates back to the Old Testament, where olive oil was used to consecrate priests, kings, and sacred objects as a sign of divine selection and empowerment.
