A sword within you

Dear reader, you may not be aware of this but it is true. God has put a very sharp sword within you. Just as a gun needs your pulling the trigger to release a bullet, this sharp sword within you needs activation.

How to activate the sword within you.

The double-edged sword living within you is actually the written Word of God. When you read the written Word of God and store it in your mind then you have kept a very powerful weapon within you. When you verbally proclaim and speak that word out of your mouth you release this powerful weapon and it pieces demons and your enemies.

How our Lord Jesus used this sword.

When he was not ministering, Jesus spent his time reading the written Word of God. He always stored ‘dangerous’ Scriptures within his memory. He waited for the right time to memorize them and verbally pronounce them against Satan and demons.

One time the Devil attacked Jesus wanting to tempt him into sin. Jesus used the following swords that he activated out of his memory:

Sharp sword No.1:  ‘It is written: “Man shall not live on bread alone

Sharp sword No. 2: ‘It is written: “Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only

Sharp sword No. 3: ‘It is written: “Do not put the Lord your God to the test

These devastating weapons pieced Satan and he was badly wounded. He could not wait for a fourth sword so he fled from Jesus.

Start using this weapon.

Dear child of God, start reading the Bible selecting ‘dangerous’ verses and storing them in your mind. When faced with tough situations, you only have to memorize these verses and pronounce them out of you.

A very good example.

Suppose a witch or a wicked person confronted you by saying “You will die within two days”. Would you just keep quiet? The best response would be to quote any of the following:

‘It is written that: “My life is in God’s hands. He will deliver me from you” (Psalm 31:15)

OR

It is written that: “My God will contend with those who contend with me” He will contend and overcome you‘ (Isaiah 49:25).

Any of these two verses will release a sharp double-edged sword of God that will pierce your enemy to death.

You are a Christian wrestler!
