Be happy with your salary
Dear readers, many workers believe that they would be happier if they got a salary rise. This is a wrong belief. In this post I show you why you should be happy with your current salary.
John the Baptist
Some Roman soldiers went to John the Baptist and asked him “What should we do?“. Apparently these army men were of the lower rank who were poorly paid. In other words they were asking John “Our salaries are too low, what can we do to earn more? Is it alright if we extorted money from civilians?” (Luke 3:14).
John the Baptist had similar views like mine. He told them, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.” (Luke 3:14).
No one earns enough salary on earth
From my experience, I have realized that no one employee on earth earns adequate salary. Why? Because even the one whom you admire, who gets more than you earn, is not content with what he gets. He is always pressing his bosses to get more. The truth is that workers who are highly paid need more money to spend than you who is getting little.
How to multiply the little salary you get
Your salary has a direct connection with God. He can use the little you get to make you a very rich and blessed person. All that God wants you to do is to deduct 10 per cent of your salary and take it to His house (Church). He will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough for you to store it. If you take my advice, God will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe. God will open other doors for you to generate income. Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful life (Malachi 3:10-12).
