Dear reader, there is something heaven wants you to know. Even if you have a billion enemies, God will protect you.
King David had numerous enemies, but God protected him.
First, you cannot compare your enemies to the great number King David had. As soon as he became a national celebrity, young David attracted many enemies including King Saul. Second, because Saul and his original power base were from the tribe of Benjamin, many Benjamites deeply resented David.
Third, as Israel’s archenemy vying for the same territory, the Philistines were in constant conflict with King David’s growing kingdom. Third, King David created many enemies because he aggressively expanded Israel’s borders, which required frequent military campaigns against neighboring states like the Ammonites, Moabites, and Edomites. However, despite the numerous enemies, God always proted David.
If God protected David, He will protect you as well.
Even if ten thousand die near you, God will still protect you.
Furthermore, even if you are surrounded by great danger, God will still protect you. Listen to what our Father in Heaven is telling you:
A thousand may fall at your side
And ten thousand at your right hand,
But danger will not come near you.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[a] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
Psalm 91:11-15
