Dear reader, there is power in reading the written word of God in the Bible. Four powerful things happen when you decide to read the Bible.
Initial distractions.
To begin with, initially you may experience intense distractions, fatigue, or interruptions designed to hinder your reading. These are attempts by demonic forces to stop you from accessing divine truth and power.
However, if you persist, you will find that these distractions flee, replaced by a profound spiritual shift. When you commit to reading the Word, four transformative things occur.
The glory of God will come at your location.
First, the glory of God will envelop you. As you immerse yourself in Scripture, the presence of the Lord manifests, creating a tangible sense of peace and holiness around you.
The Holy Spirit will draw near to you.
Second, the Holy Spirit will come to explain what you are reading. He is the ultimate teacher, transforming mere words on a page into divine revelation that enlightens your mind and changes your heart.
You will be surrounded by God’s angels.
Third, God’s warrior angels will surround you, waiting to hear you read aloud. The Bible is not just text; it is a powerful supernatural creative force. When you read the Word aloud, you are speaking divine decree, and angels are activated to act upon what you have read [Psalm 103:20]. They are waiting to perform the Word of God in your life.
The kingdom of Satan will flee.
Finally, the kingdom of Satan and darkness will flee from your location. As light and truth enter the room, spiritual darkness cannot remain. Reading the Bible drives out fear, anxiety, and demonic oppression, causing you to fully embrace God’s kingdom of light.
Persist in reading, for the rewards are supernatural. You are not just reading a book; you are engaging in a powerful, life-altering experience.
