Dear reader, during Sunday church service today, the Lord asked me to tell all his people like this:
Tell my people not to worry too much for I have set a limit to what their enemies can do to them.
This message applies to all of God’s people throughout the world.
In Job’s case, God set a limit to Satan’s actions.
First, if you look at the book of Job in the Bible, Satan wanted to destroy everything Job had, including his life. However, Heavenly Father did not allow this to happen.
God set a limit to what the devil could do to Job and he said to Satan like this:
The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”
Job 2:6
Because of this limitation, Job survived and God blessed him with double the wealth he had before. God’s authority and mercy greatly angered Satan.
God has established a boundary between you and your enemies.
Second, God wants his people to worry less because he has established a supernatural boundary between you and your enemies. Your enemy cannot cross this divine demarcation.
Your enemies wanted to overwhelm you, but listen to what our Heavenly Father says in Psalm 104:7-9:
But at your rebuke the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
8 they flowed over the mountains,
they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned for them.
9 You set a boundary they cannot cross.
Always focus on the power of God.
Additionally, no matter what situation you face, don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by the power and size of your enemy. All you have to do is focus on God’s strength and abilities.
The giant whale failed to eat Jonah.
Additionally, if you look at the book of Jonah in the Bible, you will see that God allowed a giant whale to swallow Jonah. However, even though Jonah had already been swallowed, by God’s command, this whale failed to digest and eat him.
Eventually Jonah lived to tell his grandchildren about God’s protection and mercy.
Have faith in God.
In conclusion, no matter how many enemies you have in your life, put your faith in God. Our Lord Jesus Christ assures you that God has set a limit to what your enemy can do.
