God is waking you up.
Dear reader, God is always waking you up during the night to pray, though you may not realize it. Usually it is difficult to tell whether your wake up during night is ordinary or it is God himself who has woken you up. In this article I give you major signs it is God who has woken you up.
God always woke up Jesus to pray.
Many times Jesus ministered for long hours and he often found himself in deep sleep at night. God always woke him up in the very early morning hours to pray (Mark 1:35).
Number one major sign.
The number one major sign showing it is God who has woken you up at night is when you wake up at precise hours. Always have a clock device in your bedroom. Look at it every time you wake up at night. If, for example you wake up at precisely 4:00 am, do not go back to sleep. Quickly get out of your bed to pray.
A few minutes to the top of the hour.
If, for example, you wake up five minutes to the top of the hour, know that God wants you to get out of bed and pray at the top of the hour.
A few minutes after the top of the hour.
If you wake up, for example, five minutes after the top of the hour, know that God has been trying to wake you up but you failed to get out of sleep. Get out of your bed and pray.
Warning dreams.
If you ever find yourself suddenly waking up when something bad was about to happen in a dream, be sure it is God warning you. Quickly get out of bed to pray about that particular situation.
Having the same dream twice.
If you ever get the same dream twice or in two different forms during the night, God is seriously warning you about something. Wake up quickly and pray. Such a dream was given to Pharaoh, and listen to what Joseph told Pharaoh:
“The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon.” Genesis 41:32.
