The Devil has a secret he does not want you to know. This secret concerns the way he conducts his operations to put Christians under temptations and trials. In this post, Satan’s secret is exposed.

The secret.

The secret that he does not want you to know is this:  Satan has to get permission from God before he tempts you, or before putting you under trials.

Satan frequently goes before God.

One truth some Christians find very difficult to believe is that the Devil frequently goes before God. This fact is backed by the following three Scriptures from the Bible. The Lord gave me these Scriptures in a supernatural vision.

Luke 22:31-32:

Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.

  Luke 22:31-32

In the Scripture above, Jesus was warning Simon that he had seen Satan before God asking for permission to put the disciples under great trials.

Job 1:6

One day the angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b] also came with them.

 Job 1:6

In the Scripture above Satan went directly before God’s presence in Heaven.

Job 2:1

On another day the angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them to present himself before him.

 Job 2:1

This Scripture proves that Satan continually goes before God.

To get God’s attention, Satan makes accusations against Christians.

When the Devil presents himself before God, he accuses Christians for the purpose of getting God’s attention and permission. Satan is an accuser and he accuses believers day and night as indicated in the following two Scriptures.

Job 1:9-10

“Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.

Revelation 12:10

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
              has been hurled down.

God always gives Satan permission to tempt Christians.

As a matter of fact, many believers are not aware that God is always giving Satan permission to tempt them. During the temptation and trial of Job, God gave Satan two times indicated in the following Scriptures.

Job 1:12

The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”

Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Job 2:6

The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.

    Job 2:6

God gave Satan permission to tempt Jesus.

When Satan made accusations against Christ, our Father in heaven did not hesitate to give the Devil permission because God knew that Jesus would resist the Devil’s temptations. This is what God expects us to do.  If God permitted Satan to tempt Jesus, how bout us?

God led Jesus into temptation.

After God permitted Satan to tempt Jesus, it was our Father in Heaven who led Jesus into temptation. Read the Scripture that follows to prove this fact.

Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

Mathew 4:1

How to stop Satan from tempting you.

Jesus gave us a weapon to prevent Satan from tempting us and to prevent trials in our lives. Jesus instructed us always to plead to God not to lead us into temptation. This is how Jesus instructed us to plead to God always:

And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us [who has offended or wronged us].
And [a]lead us not into temptation [[b]but rescue us from evil].

   Luke 11:4

When you ask God not to lead you into temptation you are saying:

“Father, do not give permission Satan permission to tempt me”

God will deny Satan permission. Satan will not tempt you or will not put you under trials.
