Dear reader, not everyone, including your blood relatives, want you to prosper. This article presents to you six reasons why some members of your family want you to fall.
1. Jealousy.
First, you need to know that some of your family members are full of jealousy. They feel so bad when they see doing better than them. For this reason, they want you to fall and become like them.
Listen to what Joseph’s brothers said when they realised that God was about to prosper him:
8 His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.

2. They feel bad if you stay happy.
Second, some family members feel bad when they see you as a happy person. They want you to face the same troubles they have experienced so that you remain in a sad state.
3. Some want your children to suffer.
Additionally, some of your family members want your children to suffer like their children. Therefore they will work hard to bring you down from your level of happiness and prosperity.
4. They don’t want you to excel.
Fourth, some family members don’t want you to excel because they want you to stay on par with them. They think that if you excel you will rule over them. Therefore they will do their best to pull you down.
Listen to what Joseph’s borthers said to him:
19 “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other. 20 “Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.”

5. Others want you to beg them for money.
Interestingly, some of your family members want you to fall down and start begging or borrowing from them. Then they will start telling the world like this:
Listen, he came to borrow money from me!
6. Some may be deeply involved in the occult, witchcraft, or satanism.
You may not believe this but it is happening in many families. There are some family members who are actually deeply involved in the occult, witchcraft, or satanism. No person practicing such things wishes others well.
Only Heavenly Father can rescue you.
As a matter of fact, God is the only person who can defend you from your malicious family members. If you put your faith in God, he will be faithful to you to ensure that all his plans for you come to pass. This is exactly what happened to Joseph, who was nearly murdered by his malicious brothers.
