
Dear reader, if God doesn’t want you to undertake a specific journey, he will do whatever it takes to stop you. In this article I show you six signs that God doesn’t want you to travel.
Something will happen to your travel preparations.
If God doesn’t want you to travel, he will send his angel to disrupt your travel arrangements. For example, you may find it difficult to make travel bookings
The Holy Spirit will talk to you.
In case our Heavenly Father doesn’t approve of your trip, he will ask the Holy Spirit to talk to you about it. You will feel something in your heart preventing you from travelling.
This is exactly what happened to Balaam when he wanted to travel to the plains of Moab along the Jordan across from Jericho. The Holy Spirit stopped Balaam from travelling and in the morning he said:
The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balak’s officials,
“Go back to your own country,
for the Lord has refused to let me go with you.”

God can send someone to warn you.
Heavenly Father can actually send someone to stop you from travelling.
But Moses said,
“Why are you disobeying the Lord’s command?
This will not succeed!
Something will delay you at home.
If God is against your travel, he will do whatever it takes to delay you at home. For example, you may fail to find you car keys.
Something will happen to your means of transport.
In case God doesn’t approve of your journey, he will command his angel to do something that will disorganize your transportation. This is exactly what happened to Balaam in Numbers 22:21-39.
God may cause strange events.
God may prevent your journey by causing strange supernatural events. For example, a rainstorm may come out of nowhere to prevent your travel.
