Dear reader, before he attacks you, Satan needs vital information about how you pray. Here are six things Satan wants to know about your prayer life.

The condition of your heart.

First, Satan and the demons want to know if you are living a sinful life. They want to know if there are any sins you haven’t repented of. It’s easy for the devil to intercept the prayers of Christians who live in sin.

However, it’s difficult for him to intercept the prayers of Christians who live holy lives.

Do you prepare before speaking with God?

Second, Satan wants to know if you prepare before entering God’s presence. Do you declare the place where you pray holy? Demons find it difficult to enter a sanctified place. Do you make any declarations of spiritual warfare before you pray?

For example, do you declare, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” or “My God will contend with those who contend with me”? In fact, Satan finds it difficult to combat the prayers of Christians who make such declarations.

Do you invoke the blood of Jesus Christ?

Also, Satan wants to know if you make a habit of applying the blood of Jesus before praying. It is difficult for Satan and demons to go anywhere a Christian has invoked the blood of Jesus.

Are you persistent in prayer?

Likewise, Satan and demons want to know if you are persistent in prayer. Do you pray regularly or intermittently? They find it very difficult to combat a Christian who is determined to live a life of prayer.

Are you easily distracted from prayer?

Some Christians are easily distracted from prayer by things like phone calls, a crying child, visitors, negative thoughts, and similar obstructions. It is easy for Satan to combat such a person’s prayers.

Do you pray with authority?

There are also some Christians who approach God with confidence. They boldly declare God’s written word, as if God Himself had spoken. They always make positive confessions, knowing that what they ask for will be granted. Satan and the demons fear such Christians.
