Dear reader, you may not believe what I am about to tell you, but it is the truth. About three weeks ago the voice of our Father in Heaven asked me to write an article on suicide but I hesitated, thinking suicide is not a big problem.
Then one week after God’s directive, I saw a search that was trending on social media. This search said as follows:
D.J. commits suicide.
I quickly repented before God for my disobedience as I thought that if I had written this article as God had told me, maybe my article would have saved that D.J from committing suicide.
Suicide and its consequences.
Some people, including Christians, commit suicide not knowing the consequences of doing so. In this article I show you that suicide is actually murder, and God will treat a person who commits suicide as a murderer.
Murdering who?
The complainant will be God our Father himself, and he will accuse the suicide victim of murdering a person who was created in God’s image (see Genesis 1:27).
What God’s law says.
It is clearly indicated in God’s constitution, which is the Bible, that murder is a criminal act. Hear what the Bible says:
You shall not murder.
Exodus 20:13
Going direct to Hell.
As soon as a person commits suicide, that person goes direct to hell where there is much more suffering than any suffering one can imagine on Earth.
Suicide cannot be forgiven.
Some people say that you can repent to God just before you commit suicide, and God will forgive you. This is a mistaken belief because if you repent, then you will change your mind and you will not commit suicide.
You will be taken to God’s court of law.
On God’s day of judgement (see Revelation 20:11-15), angels will take that person before God’s judgement seat. The case brought against that person will be the deliberate willful murder and destruction of a person made in God’s image.
Our Father in Heaven will be very angry with this person for committing suicide.
The punishment.
The punishment for destroying God’s image and shedding innocent blood is eternal suffering. Hear what the Bible says:
Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in the image of God
has God made mankind.
Genesis 9:6
Thrown into the Lake of Fire.
After God’s judgement, a person who committed suicide will be thrown into the Lake of burning sulfur as shown in the Bible verse below:
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—
they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
This is the second death.
