There are many reasons why you should take your young children to church every Sunday. This article presents 10 reasons to take your children to church from a young age.

1. A Church building is God’s House.

To begin with, Jesus asked when he was young:

Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?

  Luke 2:49

 

2. The chuch building is a consecrated place.

Secondly, a Church building is most likely to be the place where your marriage ceremony took place.

3. A church building is a special place in the eyes of God.

Third, a Church building is most likely to be the place where your children were consecrated before God.

Luke 2:22-23 says about Jesus Christ:

 

      When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord ²³ (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”^[a]).

 

4. Baptism.

Additionally, a Church building is most likely a place where your children were baptized.

 

5. Reading God’s word from the Bible.

Also, a Church building is where your children will hear God’s written Word being read out.

6. Praise and worship.

Furthermore, a Church building is a place outside home where they will first hear praising and worshiping God.

 

7. God touching the young lives.

Most important, a Church building is most likely to the place where God will touch your children early in their lives.

8.. Training the young lives.

A Church building is a place where your child will be trained to minister before God. 1 Samuel 2:21 says:

 

   And the Lord was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.

 

9. Tithes and offerings.

A Church building is a place where your child will learn to how to give tithes and offerings to God.

10. Interacting with Christians.

A Church building will give your child an opportunity to interact with other Christians.
