There are many reasons for you to take your young children to Church every Sunday. Below I give 10 reasons to take your children to Church early in their lives.
1. A Church building is God’s House.
Jesus asked when he was young:
“Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” Luke 2:49
2. A Church building is most likely to be the place where your marriage ceremony took place.
3. A Church building is most likely to be the place where your children were consecrated before God.
Luke 2:22-23 says about Jesus Christ:
“When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”[a])”
4. A Church building is most likely a place where your children were baptized.
5. A Church building is where your children will hear God’s written Word being read out.
6. A Church building is a place outside home where they will first hear praising and worshiping God.
7. A Church building is most likely to the place where God will touch your children early in their lives.
8. A Church building is a place where your child will be trained to minister before God. 1 Samuel 2:21 says:
“And the Lord was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord“
9. A Church building is a place where your child will learn to how to give tithes and offerings to God.
10. A Church building will give your child an opportunity to interact with other Christians.
