Thank God for the light.
Dear reader, if you are reading this article, it means that your eyes can see the light. Get on your knees right now and thank God for the light you see. Instead of being ungrateful and demanding things from God’s world, think of those who cannot see the light like you. As you read now, there are billions of people who want to see the light but cannot.
The Blind.
According to available statistics, there are about 36 million people in the world who are totally blind. They cannot see what you see now. Thank God you are not one of them.
Billions in the Darkness of Hell.
Total darkness reigns in Hell. The only little light you can see is the flicker caused by the red flames of the fire. The darkness of Hell can only be compared to that which appeared in Egypt as described in the book of Exodus.
21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.”
Exodus 10:21
Billions of souls in hell will never see the light you see now.
The light of Jesus Christ.
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you must be even more grateful. You are so fortunate to have seen the spiritual light that shines in the darkness.
Get on your knees and thank God a second time. You have seen the light of Jesus, but billions of people in the world are living in Satan’s spiritual darkness.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
John 1:4-5
