Dear reader, after our earthly life, God invites us to dwell with Him in Heaven. However, there are obstacles on the road to heaven that we must overcome before we can dwell eternally with our Father. In this article, I mention the most common barriers that can hinder our passage to heaven.
The basis of this message.
This post is based on what God said in Hebrews 12:1-4.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

My heavenly Father, I am tired of the struggle with sin in my life. I feel alienated from You. My choices have not led me to the right places. I have listened to the whispers of my enemy instead of Your word in the Bible, and the result has been disastrous.
So today, I confess my desperate need for You. You have promised that if we confess our sins, You will forgive us and cleanse us again. Lord, I truly need Your forgiveness. Repentance is on my heart and lips. Lord Jesus, cleanse me with the Blood You shed on the Cross. May the Holy Spirit come and dwell in me forever.
Lord, uproot the darkness and illuminate my life with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
