The most powerful prayer is the Lord’s Prayer.
To begin with, you need to know that the most powerful prayer on earth is actually the Lord’s prayer because of the reasons I am about to give you.
Why do many Christians pray this prayer and nothing takes place?
In fact, most Christians experience no effect when they pray the Lord’s Prayer, since they recite it like a poem. They don’t pronounce it with spiritual authority or meditation. Therefore, they don’t get any results.
This prayer was given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
First, the power of this prayer lies in the fact that it was given to us by our Savior Jesus Christ. It is the official prayer of the entire Bible, emanating from the Kingdom of God.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Second, when you pray that our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, you enforce territorial claim. You enforce the power and authority of God. You proclaim that the Name of God is higher than all other names.
Your Kingdom come.
When you invite the Kingdom of God, you evict Satan’s kingdom. Second, you evict ancestral dominance and you expel all the kingdoms darkness. If you pray this verse with authority, all the kingdoms of darkness will shake. The kingdoms of your ancestors will perish.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Furthermore, when you request for your daily bread, you are renewing your blood covenant with our Heavenly Father. You cancel all the covenants with the kingdom of Satan.This request is not limited to food only. It covers all aspects of the provisions in your life. You cancel ancestral debts. You cancel all sickness planted by Satan. It cancels dream infiltrations made by the devil.
Forgive us our sins
By asking for forgiveness, you close the door to all the agents of Satan’s kingdom. Furthermore, Satan and his agents will no longer have any legal grounds to attack you.
As we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
Unforgiveness creates legal grounds for Satan and demons to torment you. When you forgive others from the bottom of your heart, all the demons that were attacking you will withdraw.
Lead us not into temptation.
As he did in the Book of Job, Satan is always asking God for permission to go out and test Christians. Like in the book of Job, God is always giving Satan permission to go and test Christians. This is how God led Jesus Christ to the devil to be tempted by the devil (Mathew 4:1). When you ask our Heavenly Father not to lead you into temptation, you are asking Him to restrain Satan.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
This phrase closes your prayer with authority. It is a sealing declalration. You lock your prayer so that Satan and his agents cannot open it.
