Dear reader, do you feel like you are slowly being dragged into hell? Don’t worry anymore, because you can do something about it.

In this article I show you two actions that can stop your descent into Hell.

Calling upon the name of Jesus Christ.

If you feel that you are being dragged into hell, the best thing you can do is to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. This action will reverse your destiny, from eternal destruction to eternal life.

Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord,

and in your heart believe that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord, will be saved.

(check: Romans 10:9-13).

Repenting of your sins and changing your way of life.

If you express to God our Father your sincere regret about your wrongdoing, and you forsake those sins, then God’s mighty hand can prevent your descent into hell.

This is exactly what the people of Nineveh did. They were destined for eternal destruction in hell, but they remembered God and sincerely repented of their sins.

They humbled themselves by giving up their evil ways and their violence. This completely changed their destiny from eternal destruction to eternal living.

Listen to what our Father in Heaven did after he saw the repentance of the people in Nineveh:

When God saw what they did

and how they turned from their evil ways,

he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

Jonah 3:10
