Dear reader, this article shows you the benefits of serving our Lord Jesus Christ. After reading, you will realize that serving Jesus Christ is better than serving Satan.
Jesus gives you life.
First, you need to understand that you get life when you accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life. On the contrary, Satan will never offer anyone life. Instead the devil offers death to all his followers.
Jesus said in John 6:35 that:
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
Jesus gives you eternal life.
Second , Jesus Christ gives you eternal life while Satan leads you to eternal destruction. Listen to what Jesus said in John 10:28:
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Jesus gives you peace.
Third, Jesus Christ gives you peace of heart. This is something Satan will never do. Satan will never give peace to any of his followers.
Listen to what Jesus Christ said in John 14:27:
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus Christ is more powerful than Satan.
Furthermore, it is always better to serve the most powerful person. In this regard, our Lord Jesus Christ is far more powerful than the devil.
Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:
Therefore God exalted him [Jesus Christ] to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore, we would rather serve Jesus Christ than serve Satan.
