What are you sowing?
Dear reader, time will come, especially in your late years, when you will be harvesting what you sowed. Your harvest will depend on what you sowed – whether it was good or bad seed. So, the question is: what are you sowing now?
Do not sow bad seeds.
If you want to live a prosperous and honorable future on earth and in Heaven, I advise you not to sow bad seeds that include the following:
- Refusing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.
- Mistreating others.
- Being selfish by refusing to help those in need.
- Not supporting God work.
- Refusing to tithe and to give offerings.
- Focusing on earthly things instead of heaven.
- Hatred and divisions.
- Refusing to forgive and opting for revenge.
- Slandering others.
- Living a prayer-less life.
- Not reading God’s written Word in the Bible.
- Bowing to sin.
Seeds that will give you good harvests on earth and in Heaven.
- Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior.
- Living a life of prayer.
- Regularly reading and abiding by God’s Word.
- Honoring God in all your ways.
- Avoiding sin in all its form.
- Focusing on Heavenly instead of earthly things.
- Helping the needy.
- Encouraging and blessing others.
- Opting for peace, instead of war.
- Forgiving others and leaving revenge to God.
- Opting for love, instead of hatred.
- Giving your tithes and offerings.
- Supporting God’s work, especially the preaching of the Good news (the Gospel) of Jesus to the lost
Finally, [a]believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. Philippians 4:8
