What happened at the Cross.
At the cross Jesus paid the price for the salvation all mankind, those born at that time and the unborn. God wanted all humankind to know about Jesus’s sacrifice. As it written, he was pierced for our transgressions; he suffered for our iniquities. The Blood of Jesus poured on the cross is the one that takes away the sins of all humankind.
The workers are few
The main problem hindering the spread of the Good News, that Jesus poured his blood for the salvation of all mankind – has always been the few preachers of the gospel compared to the number of unsaved souls. Jesus said that:
‘When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Mathew 9:36-38)
Abel’s blood cried
When Abel was murdered by his brother, his blood on the ground kept on crying until God heard this cry. God was very uncomfortable because of this continuous cry until he descended and asked Cain:
‘Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”
“I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
10 The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground‘
The Blood of Jesus is crying
Jesus is delaying his return because the Blood he poured at the cross is continuously crying to God. The Blood of Jesus is pleading to God to delay the return of Jesus because billions of souls on earth have not known about Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross. As He heard Abel’s blood cry, God is hearing the Blood of Jesus crying from earth. He is therefore delaying Jesus’s return for this reason until all people om earth have heard about Jesus.
The first sign of Jesus’s return
The first sign of Jesus’s return will be the preaching of Good News of Jesus Christ to ALL people in the world. Jesus said:
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Mathew 24:14)
At that time the Blood of Jesus will stop crying and Jesus will return to take us.
