This article shows why church worship frees more captives than preaching. No wonder all heaven wants most preaching in churches on earth to be replaced by worship.
Church worship opens heaven.
First, we need to know that when Christians worship God in truth and holiness, a direct connection is established between the place of worship and heaven. Through this portal, many activities take place between heaven and the place of worship.
On the contrary, a Christian can preach all day without having the required direct connection with heaven.
Worship attracts Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Second, we must understand that the dominant activity in heaven is worship. For example, the angels around God’s throne in heaven worship God continually (see Revelation 4:8). Therefore, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are always drawn to any place on earth where Christian worship occurs. Consequently, expect great deliverance and miracles wherever on earth the Trinity chooses to descend.
Worship attracts heavenly angels.
Additionally, there is much angelic activity whenever Christians give glory, honor, and thanks to God through worship. Listen to what God’s written word says in Revelation 4:9-10:
Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever.
Worship scares Satan and demons.
Fourth, since there is increased presence of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God’s angels during worship, Satan and demons will stay away from the worship location.
Captives will be set free.
Also, due to the increased intensity of the power of God at the worship location, demons will depart from many oppressed people. As a result, there is always a lot of deliverance during most church worship sessions.
In conclusion, for the sake of setting the captives free, it is better to have more worship than preaching during any church service.
