Dear reader, you may find it hard to believe what I am about to tell you, but it is the truth. Your success is not pleasing to everyone, as you may think. For some, it can be a source of jealousy that gets you into a lot of trouble, even though you might not know it.
Jealousy is an evil spirit.
As a matter of fact, the devil has hundreds of evil spirits under his command, and one of these is the spirit of jealousy. Specifically, Satan uses the spirit of jealousy to destroy people’s peace, happiness, and prosperity.
How the spirit of jealousy affected the young man Joseph.
Nowhere is the spirit of jealousy more exemplified than in the lives of Joseph and his brothers. Jacob loved Joseph more than all his other sons and this created a lot of jealousy from his brothers.
As a result of this jealousy Joseph lost all his happiness. He was driven out of the comfort of his family, thrown into a pit, and sold into slavery. Finally, he ended up being unjustly imprisoned.

Sickness.
If you have not entrusted your life into the hands of Jesus Christ, jealousy from others can bring you sickness.
Failure.
In the second place, if you are not a person of prayer, the jealousy from others can lead to your failure in whatever you do.
Poverty.
Additionally, the jealousy from others can lead a person away from prosperity and plunge him into utter poverty.
Marital and relationship problems.
Furthermore, jealousy from others can create a lot of marital and relationship issues. If a person is not prayerful, this may lead to separation or divorce.
Accidents.
A person affected by the jealousy from other people may find themselves involved in accidents.
Loss of a job.
Finally, if you are not a prayerful person, the jealousy from others can cause you to lose your job.
Overcoming the spirit of jealousy.
Only prayer and the blood of Jesus Christ can protect you from being attacked by jealousy from others.
