6 dangers of making false accusations
Being in ministry, I have seen Christians accusing fellow Christians, especially those in ministry, of things they have never done. Such accusing individuals do not know that by doing so they are sinning against God. They are not aware that they may face harsh judgement from God. Below I give 6 dangers of making false accusations
A false accusation is from the Devil.
By making such accusations you are working on behalf of the Devil.
You are joining Satan who day and night accuses believers before our God in Heaven.
Read what will happen to the Devil:
‘Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom (dominion, reign) of our God, and the authority of His Christ have come; for the [a]accuser of our [believing] brothers and sisters has been thrown down [at last], he who accuses them and keeps bringing charges [of sinful behavior] against them before our God day and night” Revelation 12:10.
When you make a false accusation, you are opening a door for other evil spirits to enter into your life.
Such spirits include anger, bitterness, malice, envy, jealousy, and murder.
When you make a false accusation, you become an enemy of God.
God will judge you:
“A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape” Proverbs 19:5
On the Day of Judgement you will have to account for every false accusation you made on earth.
The Bible says:
“And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this heaven and earth are passing away]. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth]. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God]. 15 And if [e]anyone’s name was not found [f]written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:11-15
Making false accusations may bring curses upon your life, the lives of your children, and grand children.
Making false accusations may lead you to Hell.
This is exactly what happened to those who falsely accused Daniel:
“The king then gave a command, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and thrown into the den of lions, they, their children and their wives; and before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones“ Daniel 6:24
