Dear reader, sometimes you don’t have to give millions of Dollars to a church to earn many blessings from God. All you need is a small act of righteousness done at the right time to a right person.
In this article I share with you seven small acts that can earn you great heavenly blessings.
Opting to forgive.
Forgiving someone may seem like a simple action that makes you a looser. But there will be great celebration in heaven if you forgiive, and Heavenly Father will command his angels to release divine blessings upon your life.
A small gesture of kindness.
Moses helped Jethro’s daughters water their flock, not knowing that it would bring him great heavenly blessings.
Listen to what the Bible says:
They answered,
“An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock.”
“And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him?
Invite him to have something to eat.”
Moses agreed to stay with the man,
who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.
Exodus 2:19-21
Choosing reconciliation.
Many years passed after Jacob stole Esau’s blessings, and the two never had the opportunity to meet. One day as they were preparing to meet, Jacob feared that Esau would be hostile to him. But Esau chose reconciliation and, as a result, Heavenly Father blessed him a lot.
In relation to this reconciliation, Esau rejected all the gifts Jacob had brought to obtain his favor and he said:
I already have plenty, my brother.
Keep what you have for yourself.
Opting for peace
Abraham’s option for peace with Lot brought him a lot of heavenly blessings that got him into a blessed land of peace. He gave Lot the opportunity to choose the better land, but Lot ended up in a bad place.
Listen what the Bible says:
So Abram said to Lot,
“Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me,
or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives.
Is not the whole land before you?
Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right;
if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.”
Genesis 13:8-9
And Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. As a result of his choice, Lot found many problems in the area he chose, yet Abraham was greatly blessed in the land of Canaan.
Chosing holiness.
Heavenly Father will command his angels to release to you great heavenly blessings if you opt for holiness instead of sin.
Choosing not to take revenge.
If you choose not to take revenge, Heavenly Father will release his abundant blessings upon your life.
Helping a true servant of God.
Even if you only give a glass of water to a true servant of God, Heaven Father will open its doors to realese its blessings upon your life.
Listen to what the written word of God says about this small act:
He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.
And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man
shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple,
assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.
Matthew 10:41-42
