This actually happened to me.
As I’ve mentioned in some of my previous blog posts, I’ve served God for many years, but at the same time I’ve held secular jobs. These jobs have allowed me to support my family and the ministry God has entrusted to me.
I remember once going to an interview for a position I wasn’t really well qualified for. Before the interviews, management had gathered all the shortlisted candidates, including myself, in a waiting room near the interview room. They were calling them in one by one.
While we were waiting, I don’t know where I got the courage, but I said,
You’re all wasting your time. This job is mine.
My statement caused a stir in the waiting room. All the candidates looked at me, probably wondering what kind of person I was. I believe some candidates thought I had already bribed the members of the interview panel. But, in fact, I didn’t know who was on the panel. I just trusted our Heavenly Father, who is in charge of everything on earth.
Soon, you are about to witness the supernatural impact of my statement.
The best candidate wasn’t offered the job.
After the interviews, the committee selected a highly qualified woman as the best candidate. She was offered the position because she had many academic qualifications I did not have. However, as you are about to see, something happened that changed everything.
During negotiations, management realized the best candidate was asking for a very high salary. Consequently, they were unable to hire her.
Since management didn’t want to re-advertise this position, I ended up receiving the job offer. Now you can see how God used my declaration to bring about the necessary manouvres until I got this job.
The Lord used this job to help me do many things in His Kingdom, including creating this website you are reading now.
Conclusion.
In conclusion, our Heavenly Father is always attentive to the words of faith that come from your mouth. He will do everything necessary to implement what you have said, as long as it is in accordance with His will.
