Demons hear your prayers, and this is what happens next…

Dear reader, you should be aware of the main drawback of verbal prayers. Demons hear your prayers, and this is what happens next…

Satan, demons, and witches hear everything you say in prayer.

First, understand that every time you pray, you declare war on Satan’s kingdom. That’s why Satan constantly deploys invisible demons and witches around you, who are interested in what you say to God. They monitor everything you entrust to God in prayer in order to prepare their spiritual counterattacks. Consequently, they will use your prayers against you. For example, demons might overhear you asking God for the healing of a loved one. Unbeknownst to you, Satan could retaliate by worsening your loved one’s condition.

Explore the power of silent prayer.

Thankfully, God has given us the weapon of silent prayer. Silent prayer is prayer in which no words are spoken. Instead, you pray from the depths of your heart, and amazingly, our Heavenly Father hears everything you say in your heart. I have found this prayer so powerful because it cannot be intercepted by the kingdom of Satan. Second, unlike verbal prayers, you can pray a silent prayer anywhere you want. The power of silent prayer can be seen in the life of Hannah the second wife of Elkanah. She was always verbally praying to God for a child but nothing happened. However, when she switched to silent prayer as written in 1 Samuel 1:13, God immediately heard her prayer and gave her a child.

Try praying in tongues.

Another way of preventing Satan and demons from monitoring your prayers is to pray in tongues. In fact, Satan’s kingdom will not understand any portion of your prayer because you will be praying in a language they cannot undestand. Interestingly, God can hear what you mean when you pray in tongues.

Listen to what the written word of God says about praying in tongues:

For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 14:2

The weapon to stop Satan is actually found in Luke 11:4
