A secret about prayer.

Dear reader, I would like to share with you one secret about God’s Kingdom. God may never answer your prayers until you ask him what you want him to do for you.

The False assumption about God.

Many Christians assume that since God knows all their problems, he will answer their prayers automatically, even if they do not mention them to him in prayer.

God’s principle.

Many times God does not violate his principles. One of these principles, written in the Bible is that you first ask him what you want him to do for you, before he answers.

Jesus Christ confirmed God’s principle.

Jesus confirmed God’s principle of first asking him when he said:

[a]Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you.”  Mathew 7:7

Your tears may not move God.

Some Christians make the mistake of crying to God, instead of talking to him, stating their problems. When you cry to God, you are violating one of his written principles that says:

So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.” Hebrews 4:16 TLB.

If the Word of God tells us to go boldly (confidently) before God, and then you start crying, Satan and demons will start laughing at you saying:

“Look at this one, doesn’t she read God’s written word in the Bible?” Then they may even come and torment you.

The prayer of crying before God.

One time one of our sons was giving us a lot of problems, but thank God he was restored later. So, one night during those difficult days my wife was wondering why God was not answering our prayers for this boy.

She left our bedroom and started praying from the room next door. Instead of praying to God, my wife was filled with sorrows and started crying. I could hear her and this went on until God slowly took me into the supernatural world.

Demons entered our compound.

As I went into the spirit world, I saw myself (my soul) walking from my bed to the front yard of our compound. I was shocked by what I found there. Our gate was partly open and I saw several shabbily dressed women, some carrying children on their backs, already inside our compound. In the spirit world, these were demons.

I asked these shabby women (demons), “Who are you, and who opened for you our gate? What do you want?”. These women (demons) boldly replied that “It was your wife who opened the gate for us”. Then I abruptly woke up from this vision. I realized that by crying before God, my wife violated God’s Word and opened a door for demons to enter our residence. I went on my knees, pleaded for God’s forgiveness, and I cast those demons away.

Appropriate way of praying to God.

The most appropriate way of praying is when you ask God what you want him to do for you as, at the same time, you quote his written Word in the Bible. For example, this is how my wife should have prayed boldly:

“Father, I ask you to deliver our son. Set him free. Is it not written in your Word that:

Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,

    and plunder retrieved from the fierce;
I will contend with those who contend with you,
and your children I will save.”  Isaiah 49:25 ?”

God is moved by his written Word. I assure you that as soon as God hears you boldly praying like this, and you persist daily as you quote his written Word, he will answer your prayers.
