Curses of neglected parents.
Dear reader, many Christians are praying, fasting, walking in many God’s ways and are contributing a lot to the expansion of God’s Kingdom. Despite all these actions of faith, they still do not see breakthroughs of the blessings they need in life. In this article I show you why forgetting your parents may be the reason God is withholding your heavenly blessings.
It is God’s Commandment.
The Ten Commandments are part of God’s written Word and they are still applicable to the daily living of all Christians. In the fifth commandment God instructed us as follows:
“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.” Exodus 20:12.
God will never go against his Word.
The reason why God is withholding the blessings of many Christians today is that he will never contradict his written word. He wants us to walk obediently with him as we fulfill his written Word.
God chose your parents.
There are some Christians who think it was a mistake that they were born by their parents. They start wishing they were born by a certain rich or good couple within their locality. Such Christians do not know that it is God who chose their parents before they were born. By dishonoring your parents you are in turn dishonoring God who chose your parents for you.
Satan will rob your blessings.
Even if God decided to release your blessings from Heaven, Satan will always accuse you before God using Exodus 20:12 to steal your blessings. Powerful celestial demons will steal your heavenly blessings every time these blessings are released from heaven.
Angry sons and daughters.
For one reason or another some sons and daughters may have very bad relationship with their parents. This is where Jesus Christ’s teaching becomes applicable:
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Mathew 6:14-15
You have to forget everything your parents did to you and seek reconciliation so as to please God and get his blessings.
Other people may take your blessings.
There is something the Lord revealed to me about forgotten parents. If you forget your parents and any good-hearted person comes forward to help them, then God will divert your heavenly blessings to that good-hearted person.
Entering Heaven.
If you forget your parents and time comes for you to depart this world, God’s angels may refuse opening for you the entry gates to Heaven because of your parents you forgot when you were still on Earth..
The story of my aunt.
My parents passed away long time ago when I was very young. The only old person left on my maternal side is my aunt who is approaching 80 years. My aunt has her own children and many nephews but they all forgot about her and she lived a poor person’s life far in a rural village. Then one day the voice of the Lord said to me:
“Makko, I want you to start helping that poor woman”
I replied to God, within my heart:
“But Lord, this is very unfair, my Aunt has a daughter, a son and many nephews living near her. Why don’t they help her?”
Then the Lord replied:
“Help her, that you may appear righteous before me” (Mathew 3:15).
I decided to obey God. Since it was approaching Christmas time I bought my aunt a beautiful local garment plus some essential food items and I sent them to her. She was so pleased with these gifts that she thanked me about a million times through messengers.
Dear reader, you may not believe what I am about to tell you. The moment I obeyed God, and I sent my aunt clothes and food items, that very night when I went to sleep something happened. In a dream I suddenly saw a clear sky opening and Heaven was revealed to me. Out of heaven came God’s angels bringing heavenly gifts to me. God is my witness in what I am telling you. Since that heavenly dream I have never stopped helping my aunt.
