Through the Lord’s prayer, all Christians daily pray that God’s Kingdom come. You can personally take this proclamation further by declaring God’s Kingdom at every place you step your feet. Below I give 3 reasons to declare God’s Kingdom everywhere you go.
1. We have to continue with what John the Baptist started.
The Bible says in Mathew 3:1-3,
In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a]
2. Christians must continue with the proclamations of God’s Kingdom Jesus made.
When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee. 13 Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14 to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles—
the people living in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death
a light has dawned.”[f]
17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Mathew 4:12-17
3. Jesus instructed Christians to declare God’s Kingdom until the end of the Earth.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Mathew 24:14
4. When you pronounce God’s Kingdom, then Satan‘s kingdom vanishes.
5. When you declare God’s Kingdom, you activate God’s Angels. They will take over space that was previously occupied by demons.
6. When you proclaim God’s Kingdom, the Holy Spirit will come at that place.
7. When you declare God’s kingdom, Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven will focus on that locality.
