How God can deny Satan permission to tempt you

Did you know that our Father in Heaven can either give or deny Satan permission to tempt you?  A very good example is found in the Book of Job. In this Book Satan accused Job before God and, since Job had no knowledge about Satan’s activities – and he did not take any action – God went ahead to grant Satan his request to tempt Job.

God told Satan (Job 1:12):

The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”

Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

The very good news I have for you is that unlike Job, we now know that Satan accuses us day and night before our Father in Heaven. Satan presents these accusations seeking God’s permission to tempt us. Many Christians are not aware of these accusations yet they are clearly indicated in the End Time prophecy shown in Revelation 12:10

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
    has been hurled down.

Before this prophecy is fulfilled, Satan will always be accusing Christians before God in Heaven.

Jesus has given us a weapon against Satan’s accusations.

You no longer need to worry about Satan’s  accusations because. Jesus Christ has given us a weapon to counter Satan. It is a simple but a very powerful weapon. Because Jesus lived in Heaven and he was always seeing Satan making accusations against believers, he directed us to always pray to God that:

Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[a] And lead us not into temptation.[b]’”

If you ask God to forgive you your sins as you, yourself has forgiven others: God will forgive you. You will be cleansed. The Devil will have have no basis for tempting you.

Secondly, and most important, when you ask God NOT TO LEAD YOU INTO TEMPTATION. God will hear your prayer. He will not give Satan permission to tempt you. Lets us pray daily that God does not lead us into temptation. He will then deny Satan permission to tempt us.

Prayer that blocks Satan.
