Dear reader, you cannot put pleasure and spiritual power in the same room because one could kill the other. In relation to this fact, we need to know that seeking pleasures will steal your spiritual power.

Spiritual power is costly.

First, we must understand that the cost of pleasure and the cost of spiritual power are incomparable. Anywhere in the world, a person can obtain spiritual power only after paying a very high price. However, you can buy pleasure at a very low price.

The most powerful person in the universe paid dearly for his spiritual power.

As you may know, the most powerful person in the whole universe is our Lord Jesus Christ. At the mention of the name of Jesus Christ all other names bow or fall down.

But how was Jesus Christ empowered? Jesus acquired that spiritual power after he was ridiculed, tortured, humiliated and nailed on the cross. Furthermore, he endured death for three days until Heavenly Father rose him from the grave.

After paying this price God exalted Jesus to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus Christ paid dearly for the spiritual power he has.

The pursuit of pleasure weakened the strongest man in Israel.

During this time, God mightily anointed Samson to become the strongest man in all of Israel and the Middle East. In fact, Samson performed so many supernatural feats that everyone feared him.

However, Samson locked his supernatural power and pleasure-seeking in the same room. As a result, pleasures killed Samson’s supernatural strength.

The pursuit of pleasure stole all Samson’s strength.

What are we supposed to do?

In conclusion, if you have found favor in God’s eyes and He has blessed you with spiritual power, then stay away from the pleasures of this world. If you follow this advice, you will retain your spiritual power until you leave this world.

Seeking pleasures will steal your spiritual power.
