Sin makes you powerless

Dear reader, as you continue walking with God you will realize something; when you entertain sin you become less and less powerful. You become weak spiritually. Sin drains your power. Sin makes you powerless.

Why sin weakens you

Remember that when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God the Father and the Holy Spirit came and dwelt within you. As long as you avoid sin, these three beings in you will give you supernatural power that enables you to overcome Satan, demons, and all your earthly enemies. As long as you embrace holiness you will always remain invincible. No weapon forged against you will prevail. You will speak with power and authority. The word from your mouth will be as if it is from the mouth of God himself. Your words will be covered with holy fire. Your hands will contain power that will cast out demons and heal the sick. But when you entertain sin, these three super powers will flee from your life. Sin makes you powerless

God angels will flee from you.

In addition to God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit dwelling within you, if you continue embracing holiness, God will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your feet against stones. A thousand may fall all around you but what has affected them will not come near you. But if you entertain sin, God’s angels will flee from you. They will no longer guard you. Whatever affects others around you will affect you as well.

Sin opens doors for demons

When you entertain sin, you open the doorways on your life for demons to enter your life. Open doors on your life will make you a very weak person spiritually.

Sin keeps you focused on earthly things

Sin will keep you more focused on earthly rather than heavenly things.  This will deprive you tapping into the mighty powers of God in heaven.

Your enemies will no longer fear you.

When you entertain sin, your enemies, including Satan and all demons will no longer fear you. They will ruthlessly attack you.
