Facing heaven means that you are shifting all your worship to our Heavenly Father who is seated in heaven. It means turning your attention from everything to our Creator. Second, it symbolizes reverence, expectancy, and connection with the divine. Third, you acknowledge God’s supreme majesty, holiness, and high position above the earth. Fourth, looking up models looking for God’s help, guidance, or an answer to prayer, matching biblical examples like our Lord Jesus Christ.

This shows that you are shifting your thoughts away from all earthly distractions to center your heart entirely on our Heavenly Father who is seated in heaven.
Lift both hands before God.
First, hands are portals. They open the gates of heaven. Therefore, when you lift your hands towards heaven, you are opening the gates of heaven. Second, lifting up both hands shows total surrender. In fact, raising empty hands shows you have nothing to hide. You are giving up all your fights, just like a person yielding in defeat. Third, lifting up both arms represents a humble request to our Heavenly Father to hold you. Fourth, lifting up both arms shows worship and praise.
