Dear reader, you may not believe this but it is true; and it is backed by the written Word of God. Satan continually goes before God in Heaven. This post shows you why Satan day and night goes to God.
Three Bible verses prove that Satan goes before God.
Luke 22:31-32
31 Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has demanded permission to sift [all of] you like grain; 32 but I have prayed [especially] for you [Peter], that your faith [and confidence in Me] may not fail; and you, once you have turned back again [to Me], strengthen and support your brothers [in the faith].
In the Scripture above, Jesus was alerting His disciples that he had seen Satan before God in Heaven asking for permission to come on earth and tempt them severely.
Job 1:6
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God (angels) came to present themselves before the [a]Lord, and Satan (adversary, accuser) also came among them.
In this Bible verse Satan went direct to God in Heaven!
Job 2:1
Again there was a day when the sons of God (angels) came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (adversary, accuser) also came among them to present himself before the Lord.
In this verse again we see Satan going direct to God in Heaven!
Dear reader, Satan has the ability to go before God in Heaven. He does this day and night as indicated in Revelation 12:10..
How Satan goes before God in Heaven.
God continually assigns the holy angels in Heaven tasks on Earth. After completing these assignments the holy angels go back to God in Heaven to worship and tell Him work has been accomplished.
Satan uses the opportunity when God’s angels are reporting back to Heaven to join them and present himself before God.
Why Satan goes before God.
Satan cannot tempt or put under trial a child of God without God’s permission. This is clearly indicated in Chapters one and two of the Book of Job. Each time Satan wanted to put Job under trial, Satan had to seek God’s permission. Satan’s practice continues up to today. This is why Satan daily goes to God
How Satan secures God’s permission to tempt you.
Satan’s strategy is to use accusations against you. Some of these accusations may actually be true. In the case of Job, Satan accused Job of not loving God from the bottom of (Job’s) heart as shown below:
Then Satan answered the Lord, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not put a hedge [of protection] around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands [and conferred prosperity and happiness upon him], and his possessions have increased in the land.
Job 1: 9-10
Satan makes accusations against Christians day and night before God.
Since Satan does not want any Christian to go to Heaven, he accuses them day and night before God. Satan will continue making these accusations until the end-time prophecy in Revelation 12:10:
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
When that prophecy is fulfilled in the End Time, Satan will no longer make any accusations against Christians.
God can give Satan permission to tempt you.
When Satan accuses you before God, our Heavenly Father can actually give Satan permission to go ahead and tempt or put you under trials. This is exactly what God did in the case of Job. Listen to what God said:
The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger. Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Job 1:12
God gives Satan permission to tempt you because our Father in Heaven has a lot of trust in you. God knows that you cannot let Him down. That you fear God and you will not give in to Satan’s temptations.
God can lead you to the Devil to be tempted (He can lead you into temptation).
Dear reader, after God gives Satan permission to tempt you, He (God) can actually lead you to the Devil to be tempted. He did this to our Lord Jesus Christ! After Satan made accusations against Jesus, God led Jesus to the Devil to be tempted! Read below:
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.
Mathew 4:1
Jesus gave us a powerful weapon against Satan.
Dear reader, our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a very powerful weapon against Satan. He instructed us always to plead to God that He does not us into temptation:
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[a]
And lead us not into temptation.[b]
Luke 11:4
God told me in a vision that if any Christian prays as Jesus instructed in Luke 11:4, then He (God) will not give Satan permission to tempt that Christian.
