May the glory of God fill the whole earth.
Dear reader, it is dangerous for you to fall asleep without praying to our Heavenly Father. Here are seven good reasons to pray before sleeping.
1. You surrender your life to Heavenly Father.
First, when you pray before you sleep, God will take care of your life. Listen to what the written word of God says:
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Psalm 91:4
2. You surrender your dreams to God.
Second, when you pray before sleeping, Satan and demons will not interfere with your dreams.
3. Prayer protects you from demonic attacks.
Additionally, when you pray before sleeping, God protects you from demonic attacks. Listen to what the Bible says:
He sends from heaven and saves me,
rebuking those who hotly pursue me—[a]
God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.
Psalm 57:3
4. Prayer invites God’s angels.
Furthermore, when you pray before sleeping, God’s angels are activated. They will surround your bed. Listen to what the written word of God says:
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:11
5. While you sleep, you interact with the heaven.
Also, when you pray before bed, your dreams will be focused on the kingdom of heaven, instead of the kingdom of Satan.
6. God will speak to you in dreams.
Sixth, when you pray before bed, God will speak to you in one way or another through dreams and visions. Listen to what the Bible says:
19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said:
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.
Daniel 2:19-20
7. God will wake you up at the most appropriate time.
Finally, when you pray before sleeping, God will ensure that He wakes you up at the appropriate time to pray during the night or early in the morning to start another day.
