The best time to pray.

What is the best time to pray?  Well, from my own experiences I have found that all time is good for prayer. Why? Because our Father in Heaven neither sleeps nor slumbers. He can listen to you any time you need Him. However, due to changes in light and darkness caused by the Earth’s rotation, human activity is affected by day and night variations.  Due to these changes, I have found that the best times for prayer are the ones indicated below.

1. Just Before sunrise

Psalm 119:146-7  says:

I call out to you; save me
and I will keep your statutes.
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.

Jesus also used to pray just before sunrise:

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,

Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed“.     Mark 1:35

2. Before you leave home.

a)  To put your home and family under God’s protection.

b)  To put your life, your travels and work in God’s hands.

c)  You ask God to protect you from all evil.

3. Between 10:30am and 11:00

Most work places and institutions get a tea break around this time. Use some of this time for a short prayer. God will be pleased with you for remembering Him, and be sure He will act on your behalf.

4. Between 12:30pm and 2:30pm

Most work places and institutions get a lunch break around this time. Use some of this time for a short prayer. God will be pleased with you for remembering Him, and be sure He will act on your behalf.

5. Before leaving your workplace to go back home.

Pray asking God for His protection and blessings.

6. Before bedtime.

Pray asking God to protect you, your home and family. Put your spirit and soul into His hands. Ask Him to give you good dreams.

7. Midnight

God does many things at midnight. This is when He struck all the first-born in Egypt. Ask Him to fight on your behalf at this hour.

Now it happened at midnight that the Lord struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt,

from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner

who was in the [a]dungeon, and all the firstborn of the cattle”     Exodus 12:29

Midnight prayers also protect you from Satanic activity which is most intense between 1:00am and 2:30am.

Your midnight prayer helps you to welcome the new day and to put this new day into God’s hands.

8. 3:00am

This is the most quiet time at night. There are no obstructions. This is the best time to tell God about your day’s plans and to put them into His hands.

Prayer that blocks Satan.

Why pray, when God already knows?

A sign you are close to Heaven

Satan’s tactic against prayer.
