Presidents are born, not made.
Dear reader, you may find it difficult to believe what I am about to tell you; but it is the real truth. All presidents in the world, good or bad, are raised up by God. Before they are born, God already knows they would be presidents.
No University for Presidents.
Have you ever heard of a University that trains and produces Presidents? This shows you that God himself raises up Presidents. However, in the process of raising them, God may use various man made educational institutions.
God raises up bad Presidents as well.
Many people think that God produces only good presidents. This is not true. God raises bad Presidents as well. When nations stop seeking God and forsake his ways, he brings bad presidents who will handle such nations with an iron hand that will make them seek God.
President Nebuchadnezzar was God’s man.
When you read the Bible you find that President Nebuchadnezzar was a very wicked leader. Yet it is God who raised this President because the nation of Israel had forsaken him. Hear what the Bible says:
“Now I will give all your countries into the hands of my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; I will make even the wild animals subject to him.” Jeremiah 27:6
Idi Amin was raised up by God.
Many people remember Idi Amin as a very wicked President. The truth is that God’s hand was on that man. I say this for two reasons. First, he used say that God always spoke to him. This is true. He survived all the assassination attempts on his life because God would reveal to him the plans of his enemies before hand in dreams.
I remember one time his enemies planned an ambush on his motorcade. Unknown to his attackers, something within Idi Amin’s heart (God) had told him before this journey to drive the presidential vehicle himself and let his chauffeur sit in the presidential passenger seat. In this incident, the attackers shot and killed his chauffeur while Idi Amin survived!
The second reason God’s hand was on Idi Amin is that the nation of Uganda had forsaken God. This nation had gone deep into unbelief and witchcraft. God used this President to bring a revival that started around 1975. This revival is still continuing in Uganda.
Some signs showing that person will one day be a President.
Dreams.
God will always talk to someone that one day he will be a leader of a nation. God will also give similar dreams to his parents, brothers, sisters, and other associates..
Their parents feel it.
Parents of a future president can tell that they have a special child. Some give such children special names indicating that one day they will be presidents.
Positions of leadership.
Sometimes future Presidents occupy positions of leadership.
“But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there. 23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.” Genesis 39:21-23.
Miracle survival from death.
God will always protect all future Presidents until his plan in their lives is fulfilled. Joseph’s brothers had thrown him into a deep pit but he survived it.
“and they took him and threw him into the cistern. The cistern was empty; there was no water in it.” Genesis 37:24.
